Self Care and Social Distancing

With all the uncertainties surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing being advised, it’s very easy to lose your mind especially if you are a social butterfly.  Although living this way can get lonely and inconvenient, it’s for a good cause.



It’s easy to want to do nothing but we need to invest our time in our relationships and our hobbies. While washing our hands regularly is very essential, I’ve included 20 things that I have found helpful during this time. I sincerely hope we can all take this as a blessing in disguise and cherish the extra time we have.


20 Self Care Ideas during Social Distancing AKA  “Rona”


  • Listen to your favorite music

  • Count your blessings by writing and reflecting on 10 things you are grateful for.

  • Do something nice for someone

  • Take some pretty pictures

  • Call or text someone you love

  • Do something new

  • Catch up on or Re-watch your favorite shows

  • Do something that makes you laugh

  • Eat well, Sleep well and Drink lots of water

  • Exercise & Stretch

  • Organize your closet

  • Get fresh air everyday. Open the windows, go on a walk

  • Ditch toxic relationships

  • Finally get to those projects you’ve been putting off

  • Be Zen and Relax

  • Start a blog like i did

  • Call a few people you haven’t spoken to in a while

  • Strengthen your immune system by eating lots of fruits and vegetables

  • Exercise caution with person to person contact

  • Start a book you haven’t had time to read
